Ulu Yam

Ulu Yam (also known as Hulu Yam Bharu) is a small town in northern Selangor, 35 km from Kuala Lumpur in the foothills of the Titiwangsa Range. It is a popular weekend destination for its riverside resorts, hot springs, and the scenic Ulu Yam waterfall. The town is surrounded by durian and fruit orchards.

KLIA (KUL) is 75 km south (1.5 hr drive).

By Train

No train station. The nearest KTM station is Batang Kali (10 km west).

By Car / Road

Ulu Yam is 35 km north of KL via the Kuala Lumpur–Kuala Kubu Bharu Highway (Route 55).

A car is essential. The waterfalls and resorts are scattered.
