Why visit Banting?
Banting is a town in the Kuala Langat district of Selangor, 50 km south of Kuala Lumpur. It is primarily an agricultural centre surrounded by oil-palm estates and serves as the administrative capital of the district. Banting is a quiet, laid-back town with a significant ethnic Chinese population and is known for its seafood (especially the nearby beach at Morib) and the historic Jugra hill with its royal mausoleum.

By Plane
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) — 25 km east, 30 min drive.
By Train
No direct train. KTM to KL Sentral and bus connection.
By Car / Road
Banting is 50 km south of KL via the ELITE Highway (E6), exit 206. It is also on Federal Route 5.
A car is essential. Buses from KL serve Banting but are infrequent.
