Kinabatangan is a town on the Kinabatangan River in eastern Sabah, best known for the Kinabatangan River Safari — a wildlife cruise through the richest rainforest ecosystem in Sabah. Proboscis monkeys, orangutans, pygmy elephants, and hornbills are commonly sighted.
