Koerich is a village in the Capellen canton, best known for the ruins of Koerich Castle (Gréiweschlass), built by Wirich I, Lord of Koerich, at the end of the 12th and start of the 13th century in late Romanesque style, then expanded in Gothic style in 1304. It is one of the castles along the Eisch valley, known as the Valley of the Seven Castles. The village also has a church and a traditional rural character.

By Car / Road

Koerich is about 25 minutes from Luxembourg City via local roads. The Eisch valley road connects it to Mersch and the Valley of the Seven Castles.

The village is walkable. The castle is a short walk from the village centre.
