Sehlabathebe

Sehlabathebe is a small village in Qacha's Nek District, Lesotho, serving as the gateway to Sehlabathebe National Park. It is a remote settlement in the high Maloti Mountains, at an elevation of over 2,400 m. The area is known for its pristine alpine scenery, with grasslands, rock pools, and clear streams.

The climate is alpine, with cold winters and mild summers. Snow is possible in winter. The best time to visit is from November to March.

The road from Qacha's Nek to Sehlabathebe is rough and requires a 4WD vehicle. Allow 2-3 hours for the journey.
