Bkassine

Bkassine is a village in the Jezzine District at ~800 m, famous for its extensive pine forest – one of the largest in Lebanon.

The climate is Mediterranean with warm dry summers and mild wet winters. The best times to visit are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when temperatures are pleasant.

From Sidon, head east toward Jezzine. Bkassine is along this route.
