About Jabriya
Jabriya is a central residential suburb in Hawalli Governorate, located between Salmiya to the east and the Hawalli town centre to the west. It is one of the more established and affluent neighbourhoods in the greater Kuwait City area, known for its tree-lined streets, large villa compounds, and proximity to major medical facilities — including the Jabriya Medical Centre, Kuwait's premier private hospital. The suburb has a calm, upscale character with a mix of older Kuwaiti villas and newer apartment buildings. Its commercial activity is concentrated along the main Tunis Street and Beirut Street corridors.
