Firdous

Al Farwānīyah, Kuwait

Why visit Firdous?

Firdous is a residential suburb in Al Farwaniyah Governorate, located in the western part of the Kuwait City metropolitan area near the Sixth Ring Road. Its name means "paradise" in Arabic. It is a quiet neighbourhood of primarily Kuwaiti families living in villa compounds and gated communities. Firdous has a calm, suburban atmosphere with good access to the major highway network. Like many western suburbs, it expanded significantly in the 1990s and 2000s as part of Kuwait's urban growth.
