Khaitan
Al Farwānīyah, Kuwait
Why visit Khaitan?
Khaitan is a large residential suburb in Al Farwaniyah Governorate, located northwest of Kuwait International Airport. It is one of the oldest residential areas in the governorate and has a mixed character, combining older villa compounds, newer apartment blocks, and government housing projects. Khaitan has a sizeable expatriate population, particularly from South Asia and the Levant, which gives its main commercial streets a lively, multicultural feel. The suburb is named after the Khaitan family, a prominent local merchant family.
