Ishbiliya

Ishbiliya is a residential suburb in Al Farwaniyah Governorate, located in the western part of the Kuwait metropolitan area near the Sixth Ring Road. Named after the Spanish city of Seville (Ishbiliya in Arabic), the neighbourhood is a quiet, family-oriented area characterized by modern villa compounds and apartment blocks. It is a relatively new development, part of the westward expansion of Kuwait City's suburbs, and has a calm atmosphere distinct from the busier, more commercial areas further east.
