Diseh

Diseh is a small village in Al 'Aqabah Governorate, located near the northern boundary of the Wadi Rum Protected Area. The village provides access to less-visited parts of the desert, away from the main tourist routes through Wadi Rum.

The landscape is desert with sandstone formations and open plains. The climate is hot desert: extremely hot summers and mild winters. Diseh is a Bedouin community with a small permanent population, offering an authentic desert experience.

King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) in Aqaba is approximately 80 km south. A rental car is recommended.

Diseh is accessible from the Desert Highway via local roads, approximately 50 km from Wadi Rum village. From Aqaba, the drive takes about 1.5 hours. No regular public transport.

A 4x4 vehicle is essential for exploring the surrounding desert. Local Bedouin guides can be arranged.
