The nearest major airport is Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston, approximately 45 km southwest. The drive takes about 1.5 hours via Morant Bay and then inland roads. Taxis from the airport cost approximately JMD 6,000–9,000.

There is no railway service to Cedar Valley.
By Car / Road
From Morant Bay, take the road north into the hills. Cedar Valley is approximately 15 km from Morant Bay, with the drive taking about 30–40 minutes on narrow, winding mountain roads. A vehicle with good ground clearance and power is recommended. There is no regular public transport to Cedar Valley; a private vehicle or arranged taxi is necessary.
