Why visit Valdobbiadene?

Valdobbiadene is a town in the province of Treviso, Veneto, Italy. It is famous worldwide as the capital of the Prosecco wine-growing region, specifically the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The surrounding Prosecco hills were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019 due to their unique cultural landscape of hogback hills, vineyards on narrow grassy terraces (ciglioni), and forests.

The town enjoys a mild climate, making it ideal to visit from spring through autumn. September and October are particularly popular due to the grape harvest (vendemmia) and wine festivals. The town centre is small and centered around Piazza Guglielmo Marconi.
