Marsciano
Umbria, Italy
Why visit Marsciano?
Marsciano is a town in the middle Tiber Valley in the province of Perugia, roughly 25 km south of the city of Perugia, with a population in the high teens of thousands. It is primarily an industrial centre, historically known for brickmaking and terracotta as well as farm machinery and furniture manufacturing; a museum dedicated to brickmaking and terracotta opened in the town in 2004. There is not a great deal to detain visitors beyond that industrial heritage.
