About Tira
Tira is an Arab city of approximately 28,000 inhabitants in the Triangle region of central Israel, located about 20 km east of Netanya. Tira is one of several Arab cities in the area (along with Taibe and Qalansawe) and is known for its traditional Arab character, market, and agricultural heritage. The city has a predominantly Muslim population and maintains strong community and family ties.
The climate is Mediterranean — hot, dry summers (27–32°C) and mild, rainy winters (8–17°C). Tira has a traditional urban layout with narrow streets and a central market area.

By Plane
Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) is approximately 30 km southwest. From the airport, drive north-east — approximately 30 minutes by car.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Kfar Saba or Ra'anana, approximately 10 km west.
By Car / Road
From Netanya: Route 57 east — approximately 20 minutes, 15 km. From Tel Aviv: Highway 6 east — about 30 minutes. From Kfar Saba: Route 57 east — approximately 10 minutes.
By bus: Buses from Kfar Saba and other cities serve Tira, though service is less frequent than to Jewish towns.
Tira is a small city, walkable in its centre. A car is recommended for getting around. Taxis are available but limited.
