About Miami

Miami (pronounced Mee-yami) is a town in eastern Semnan Province, located near the border with Khorasan. It lies in a desert region along the Tehran–Mashhad route. The climate is arid with very hot summers.

The town serves as a quiet base for exploring the surrounding region, with its own charms including traditional architecture, local bazaars, and the warm hospitality of its residents. Visitors who take the time to explore beyond the main thoroughfares will discover a side of Iran that few international travellers see — authentic, unhurried, and deeply rooted in centuries of tradition.
