Tuyserkan

Hamadān, Iran

Why visit Tuyserkan?

Tuyserkan is a city in western Hamadan Province, located at 1,800 m elevation in a fertile mountain valley. It is widely known as the walnut capital of Iran — the surrounding orchards produce some of the country's finest walnuts. The poet Baba Taher was born here, and his tomb in nearby Hamadan draws pilgrims. The climate is cold in winter and mild in summer.
