Duyure

Duyure is a small municipality in Choluteca department, southern Honduras, located near the Nicaraguan border. The town is an agricultural community with cattle ranching and crop cultivation as the primary livelihoods. The climate is tropical with temperatures averaging 28–32 °C and a pronounced dry season from November to April.

Duyure is one of the more remote municipalities in Choluteca department, with limited infrastructure. The border proximity gives the town a transit character, with travelers passing through en route to or from Nicaragua.
