The nearest airport is Golosón International Airport (LCE) in La Ceiba, approximately 40 km to the east. From the airport, taxis or colectivo minivans can take you to La Masica in about 40 minutes. Alternatively, Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP) near San Pedro Sula is roughly 90 km to the west, offering more international connections.

La Masica is located on the CA-13 highway, approximately 45 km west of La Ceiba and 85 km east of San Pedro Sula. The drive from La Ceiba takes about 40 minutes, while from San Pedro Sula it takes around 1.5 hours. The road is paved and in reasonable condition, though sections can be affected by landslides during heavy rain. Regular bus services run between San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba, stopping in La Masica; fares are around L 80–120.
La Masica is small enough to explore on foot. The town centre is compact, with most services along the main highway and adjacent streets. Mototaxis (tuk-tuks) are available for short trips within town for around L 20–30. For trips to surrounding villages or natural sites, hire a local driver or use colectivo trucks that depart from the central market area.
