Paradise
Saint Andrew, Grenada
About Paradise
Paradise is a small rural village in the agricultural heartland of Saint Andrew parish, Grenada. True to its name, the settlement sits amid lush nutmeg, cocoa, and spice estates in the fertile interior highlands. It is a quiet, secluded community with no commercial infrastructure, offering visitors a sense of deep rural tranquillity.
The village is surrounded by working plantations that produce much of Grenada's nutmeg and cocoa. The landscape is a tapestry of cultivated hillsides, forest patches, and winding paths connecting scattered homesteads. Paradise represents the traditional agricultural life that has sustained Grenada's eastern parishes for centuries.
The climate is tropical with the elevation providing slightly cooler temperatures than the coast. The dry season (January–May) is the best time to visit. The wet season brings heavy rains that can make the roads and paths muddy.
