Why visit Worawora?
Worawora is a town in Biakoye District in the Oti Region, seat of its own paramountcy distinct from the neighbouring Nkonya traditional area. According to local tradition, the ancestors of Worawora's people migrated from Kuntanase in the Ashanti Region around 1620–1625, first settling at nearby Nkonya before a chief named Kyerekyere led a further move to the present town — a link that ties Worawora's traditional affairs closely to the Asante royal house at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
