About Chinderi

Chinderi is a settlement in the Oti Region of Ghana, located in the forest-savannah transition zone near the Togolese border. The area is traditionally home to Konkomba and Guan communities. The landscape consists of rolling hills interspersed with farmlands, with yam, cassava, and maize as the primary crops.

The climate follows the tropical pattern of the Oti Region: a rainy season from April to October and a relatively dry season from November to March. The harmattan affects the area from December to February, bringing cooler temperatures and reduced humidity. The best time to travel is during the dry season months.
