Kunzelsau

Baden-Württemberg, Germany

About Kunzelsau

Künzelsau is a small town in the Kocher valley of northeastern Baden-Württemberg, with 15,000 residents. Despite its size, it punches above its weight economically as the home of the Würth Group, a global wholesale company (fasteners, tools, construction supplies) and the industrialist Reinhold Würth. The old town has well-preserved half-timbered houses and a hillside location overlooking the Kocher. Künzelsau's art scene is surprisingly strong thanks to the Würth Foundation's museums. The surrounding Hohenlohe region is known for its gentle hills, forests, and wine. Summers are warm (20–25°C), winters cold (0–3°C).
