How to reach

Bourail is about 160 km north of Nouméa via Route Territoriale 1 (RT1), about a two-hour drive. Buses run from Nouméa's main bus terminal. There is no airport — the nearest is in Nouméa.

A car is recommended for exploring Bourail's beaches and surrounding area. The town center is small and walkable. Taxis are limited.
