How do you get there?

The TGV reaches Valence from Paris in 2 hours, from Lyon in 30 minutes, and from Marseille in 1 hour. Valence TGV station is located 10 km north of the city (shuttle buses connect). The A7 autoroute provides easy road access. Valence-Chabeuil Airport serves general aviation.

The historic centre is compact and walkable. Buses serve the agglomeration. A rental car is useful for exploring the Ardèche gorges and the Drôme valley.
