Hula is a town in the Sidama Region located in the heart of the coffee belt. The area is known for producing some of Ethiopia's most highly regarded specialty coffee beans, with washing stations dotting the hillsides. Coffee is the lifeblood of the local economy.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Hawassa (AWA IATA), 60 km north, with daily flights from Addis Ababa.

By Car / Road

Hula is south of Yirgalem on the main road toward Bensa. Minibuses from Hawassa pass through regularly.

The town is walkable. Coffee washing stations in the hills require a short walk or bajaj ride.
