Overview

Hhohho is the northwestern region of Eswatini, home to the capital Mbabane, the Ezulwini Valley, and the country's most scenic mountain landscapes. The region centres on the Ezulwini Valley (the "Valley of Heaven"), a narrow valley between Mbabane and Lobamba that concentrates much of the country's tourism infrastructure — hotels, restaurants, craft markets, and the Mantenga Cultural Village. The region also includes the Malolotja Nature Reserve, one of Eswatini's finest protected areas, and Pigg's Peak, a historic gold-mining town.

When to Visit

The dry winter months (May–September) are best for hiking and wildlife viewing. The summer rains (October–April) bring lush greenery.

Tell us your dates and we'll shape a Hhohho route around them.
