About Deli

Deli is a small town on the Logone River in northern Logone-Occidental province, about 60 km north of Moundou. The river provides fishing and irrigation for the community. The town has a relaxed riverside atmosphere, with pirogues moored along the bank and fishermen casting their nets in the early morning. Cotton and rice farming in the surrounding floodplain supplement the fishing economy.
