The nearest airstrip for charter flights is in Shakawe, 70 km north. Maun Airport (MUB) is 160 km south-east.

By Car / Road

Gumare is on the paved Maun–Shakawe road, 160 km north-west of Maun (2 hours) and 70 km south of Shakawe. Minibus taxis run along this route.

Gumare is walkable. A vehicle is needed for exploring surrounding villages.
