Etsha 6 is a village in the North West District of Botswana, located on the western edge of the Okavango Delta. It is one of several settlements established by Bayei people who were displaced from the delta during the 1950s and 1960s. The village is known for its basket-weaving tradition — the Etsha baskets are among the finest in Botswana, made from mokola palm fibres. Etsha 6 has a population of around 6,000 and basic services. The surrounding landscape is mopane woodland and seasonal floodplains.

By Plane

Maun International Airport (MUB) is approximately 150 km south-east. Charter flights can land at local airstrips.

By Car / Road

Etsha 6 is accessible via unpaved roads from the Maun–Shakawe highway. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended in the rainy season.
