About Middlesex

Middlesex is a small village in the Stann Creek District of Belize, located in the interior of the district in the foothills of the Maya Mountains. The village is a quiet agricultural community with a predominantly Creole population, surrounded by forest and farmland. Middlesex has a very small population and limited infrastructure, serving primarily as a residential settlement for families engaged in farming and forestry.

The surrounding landscape transitions from flat coastal lowlands to the forested foothills of the Maya Mountains, creating a diverse habitat for wildlife. The area is known for its natural beauty, with rivers and creeks winding through tropical broadleaf forest.
