Vidzy

Vidzy (Відзы) is a small agricultural town of about 1,700 people in western Viciebskaja voblasć, located near the border with Lithuania. First mentioned in the 15th century, it was a multi-ethnic settlement with a significant Jewish population. Vidzy is known for its early-20th-century manor house and park, built in the Zakopane Style (Polish Art Nouveau). The town has a quiet, rural character. The climate is continental: warm summers (17–23°C) and cold winters (−5 to −10°C).

Vilnius Airport (VNO, Lithuania) is about 130 km southwest. Taxi costs BYN 140–170 (1.5 hr).

By Train

Vidzy has no railway station. The nearest station is in Pastavy (40 km south) or in Lithuania.

By Car / Road

From Pastavy, take local roads north — about 40 km (40 min). Roads are fair. Buses from Pastavy run 1–2 times daily.

The town is walkable.
