About Rajbari

Rajbari is a district town in the Dhaka Division of Bangladesh, situated on the northern bank of the Padma River (Ganges). The name "Rajbari" means "royal house" — reflecting the area's history as a seat of zamindar estates. The town is a quiet agricultural centre, known for rice, jute, and sugarcane cultivation.

The climate is tropical monsoon: hot and humid March–October, cooler November–February.
