Khaldan

Khaldan is a small village in the Yevlax District of central Azerbaijan, located on the agricultural plain east of the Kura River. It is a traditional farming settlement whose economy is based on grain cultivation, cotton, and livestock. The village is characteristic of the rural communities that dot the plains of central Azerbaijan between Mingachevir and Baku.

The climate is mild continental with hot summers (25–35°C) and cool winters (0–5°C). Spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons.

Khaldan is a quiet rural village with no tourist facilities. It offers a glimpse of agricultural life in the Kura River plain.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Yevlakh Airport (YLV IATA), about 25 km west. Ganja International Airport (GNJ) is about 100 km west.

By Car / Road

Khaldan is located about 20 km east of Yevlakh town, accessible via local roads from the M2 highway. A taxi from Yevlakh costs about 15–20 AZN.

The village is small and walkable. A taxi from Yevlakh is needed for visits to the surrounding area.
