Lahic (also spelled Lahij) is a historic highland village in the İsmayıllı District of north-eastern Azerbaijan. Located deep in the Greater Caucasus mountains at an elevation of about 1,200 m, it is famous for its copper craftsmanship and cobblestone streets. Lahic was a key settlement on the Silk Road and has preserved its medieval character with narrow alleys, stone houses, and traditional workshops. The population is ethnically diverse, with a unique dialect and traditions.

By Plane
The nearest major airport is Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD IATA) in Baku, about 230 km away.
By Car / Road
Lahic is about 30 km from Ismayilli town, a 1-hour drive up a winding mountain road. From Baku, the journey takes about 3.5 hours. Taxis and private cars are the most practical options; marshrutkas to Ismayilli connect with local taxis to Lahic.
The village is best explored on foot — its narrow cobblestone lanes are not suitable for cars in the historic core.
