Qizilhajili

Qızılhacılı (also transliterated Qizilhajili, Kyzylgadzhily) is a village and rural municipality in the Goranboy District of Azerbaijan, comprising the settlement itself plus the smaller villages of Aşağı Ballıqaya and Balakürd. With around 7,400 residents in the settlement proper (roughly 8,830 across the whole municipality), it is the most populous locality in Goranboy District outside the district capital. Two of its natives, Fikret Hajiyev and Yunis Aliyev, were posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan for service in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. District accounts also place a medieval settlement site, Tepeyazılan, in the Qızılhacılı area.
