Ganda

Benguela, Angola

Why visit Ganda?

Ganda is a town and municipality in eastern Benguela Province, located in the central highlands approximately 150 km east of Benguela city. It is one of the higher-altitude settlements in the province, giving it a notably cooler and greener character than the coast. The economy is based on agriculture — maize, beans, coffee, and livestock — and the town is a local trading centre. Ganda is a quiet, rural municipality with very little tourist infrastructure. The climate is tropical highland: warm days and cool nights, with a rainy season from November to April.
