Mirzaka

Paktiyā, Afghanistan

Why visit Mirzaka?

Mirzaka is one of the smaller districts of Paktiyā Province, with an estimated population of around 9,500 (2019) — modest even by the standards of this mountainous, sparsely populated province, which sits at an average elevation of roughly 1,500 m. Like most of Paktiyā, the terrain limits large-scale agriculture to the district's pockets of plain and valley land, with livestock herding also important.

Summers are warm, winters are cold. Spring and autumn offer the best conditions.
