Good to Know

Overland by rail and road

The whole loop runs on KTM Express trains and intercity express coaches, so no domestic flights are needed between cities.

Book Penang Hill express lane

The funicular's express-lane return tickets skip the main queue and are worth pre-booking for busy weekends and holidays.

Petronas is time-ticketed

Twin Towers Sky Bridge entry runs on timed slots. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your slot; late arrivals are not admitted.

Genting comes cool and misty

The hill resort sits around 1,800m and stays cool year-round. Carry a light jacket even on warm lowland days.

Arrive early for coaches

Intercity express buses ask passengers to reach the departure hall about an hour before departure; seats and times are fixed and non-changeable.
