Arrival & Ubud town sightseeing
  • Land at Denpasar around 7:25 AM; clear immigration and collect Visa on Arrival / e-VOA.
  • Private driver transfer to Ubud (~1.5 hrs); check in or drop bags at the hotel.
  • Ubud Art Market (Pasar Seni) for textiles, carvings and silver crafts.
  • Ubud Royal Palace and the lotus-pond Saraswati Temple, both easy and child-friendly.
  • Campuhan Ridge Walk in the late afternoon when it cools, through gentle rice-field hills.
  • Lunch and early dinner in Ubud town, then an early night after the long travel day.

Day 2 of 10
Goa Gajah, Beji Guwang & Tegenungan
  • Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), a 9th-century moss-covered cave temple; sarong provided, allow 1-1.5 hrs.
  • Beji Guwang Sacred Canyon trek (~35 min away); shallow wading and rock scrambling with a compulsory guide, allow 2 hrs.
  • Tegenungan Waterfall, a wide jungle cascade with viewing platforms and a shallow base pool.
  • About 160 steps down to the base; water sandals recommended, stay on the viewing rocks.
  • Pool time and rest at the hotel by late afternoon, then dinner in Ubud town.

Rice terraces, Bali Swing & Tirta Empul
  • Tegallalang Rice Terrace with easy flat paths and sweeping valley views.
  • Bali Swing at Alas Harum Agro Tourism; large swings for adults, garden swings and photo props for children.
  • Tirta Empul, a sacred spring temple with ceremonial bathing pools; sarong provided at entry.
  • Tukad Cepung Waterfall, a cave waterfall where light streams through a rock opening after a short jungle trek.

Ubud to Nusa Penida · West Tour

  • Lunch near GWK or en route to Uluwatu.
  • Uluwatu Temple by ~4:30 PM, a clifftop temple over the ocean; watch for monkeys, secure loose items.
  • Kecak & Fire Dance at Uluwatu, a 6:00 PM sunset show with a 100-person choir; pre-book tickets.

Water sports, turtles & marine park
  • Water sports at Tanjung Benoa: pick 2-3, e.g. glass-bottom boat, jet ski or parasailing (check age limits).
  • Turtle Conservation Centre at Serangan (Turtle Island) via a short boat ride.
  • Bali Exotic Marine Park dolphin encounter at a large marine lagoon (confirm age suitability).
  • Shopping at Seminyak Square or Beachwalk Mall Kuta (~20-30 min away).
  • Return to the hotel and dinner in Nusa Dua.

Nusa Dua free day
  • Relaxed start with hotel breakfast and a late morning at the pool; no driver needed.
  • Nusa Dua beach walk along the calm, gated BTDC promenade linking the resorts.
  • Water Blow, a dramatic natural blowhole where waves geyser through a rock crevice.
  • Afternoon spa at the hotel or simply pool time and a nap.
  • Early dinner; pack all bags tonight for a very early transfer tomorrow.

Early transfer & departure
  • Early wake-up (~3:45 AM); grab snacks packed the night before.
  • Private transfer to Denpasar Ngurah Rai Airport, leaving the hotel by ~4:30 AM.
  • Allow 3+ hrs for international check-in and security ahead of an ~8:25 AM departure.
  • Depart Bali, connecting via Delhi on the way home.
Good to Know

Best for young kids

The plan is built around a 5-year-old: viewpoints over steep descents (skip the Kelingking climb), garden swings instead of adult swings, and calm gated beaches at Nusa Dua for safe swimming.

Motion sickness

The Sanur-Nusa Penida fast boats can be choppy and the island roads are rough. Give a child motion-sickness tablets about 30 minutes before ferries and long drives.

Footwear for waterfalls

Tegenungan, Tukad Cepung and Beji Guwang canyon all involve steps, slippery rocks and shallow wading. Pack water sandals with grip and hold children's hands throughout.

Watch the monkeys at Uluwatu

Uluwatu's monkeys grab loose food, open bags and dangling jewellery. Secure everything and keep children between two adults.
