Why visit Mana Pools National Park?
Mana Pools National Park is a Unesco World Heritage Site on the south bank of the Zambezi River in northern Zimbabwe. The park encompasses the floodplain and river terraces of the lower Zambezi, including four large permanent pools (the "Mana Pools") that are remnants of the main river channel. It is renowned for its walking safaris, canoeing, and huge concentrations of elephant, buffalo, hippo, and predators. Mana Pools is one of Africa's finest wilderness areas, offering an intimacy with wildlife unmatched in most parks.
