Why visit Tuban?
Tuban is a district of Lahij Governorate on the agricultural plain north of Aden, with a 2003 census population of roughly 83,000 — one of the more populous districts in the governorate. Lahij as a whole is one of Yemen's agricultural governorates, with vegetables and feed crops as its most important produce; Tuban's population clusters, alongside Al Hawtah and Lahij town, are among the governorate's main population centers.
