Why visit Que Vo?

Quế Võ is a district-level town in central Bắc Ninh Province, located in the Red River Delta about 35 km northeast of Hanoi. Covering 155 km² with a population of approximately 224,000 (2023), it was upgraded from a rural district to a town in April 2023. The area has a long history dating back to the Võ Ninh canton of the pre-Lê Dynasty era. Quế Võ was formed by merging the historic districts of Quế Dương and Võ Giàng during the reign of Lê Thánh Tông. The town gained international attention in early 2025 when the music video "Bắc Bling" by singer Hòa Minzy — a native of Quế Tân ward — went viral, promoting the area's cultural heritage globally.

Quế Võ has a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers (May–September) and cool winters (November–March). Spring is the most festive season, with many village festivals taking place.
