By Plane

Knox County Regional Airport (RKD) in Owls Head, about 10 miles south, is served by various commuter services including Cape Air. Cape Air offers several flights daily to Boston's Logan Airport. Portland International Jetport (PWM) is about 80 miles southwest. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is about 190 miles southwest.

By Car / Road

Rockland is accessible via US Route 1. From Portland, take I-295 North to US Route 1 North, approximately 80 miles (about 1.5 hours). From Augusta, take Route 3 East to US Route 1 South, approximately 40 miles (about 45 minutes). The city is walkable, with parking available at various lots and meters downtown.
