Why visit Bowling Green?
Bowling Green is Kentucky's third-largest city and the seat of Warren County, located in south-central Kentucky. As the home of the National Corvette Museum and Western Kentucky University, it is a vibrant city that blends college-town energy with Southern hospitality. Bowling Green sits in the heart of Kentucky's karst region, a landscape of caves, sinkholes, and underground rivers that makes it a gateway to Mammoth Cave National Park, just 20 miles north.
The city enjoys a moderate climate with warm summers (highs in the upper 80s to low 90s°F / 31-33°C) and mild winters (highs in the 40s°F / 4-9°C). Spring and fall are the most pleasant seasons. Bowling Green's downtown features a mix of historic architecture and modern development, while the surrounding area offers rolling hills, horse farms, and abundant outdoor recreation.
