By Plane
The nearest airport is Honiara International Airport (IATA: HIR), about 35 km east. Taxis and minibuses connect the airport to the coastal villages.
By Car / Road
Visale is reached by driving west from Honiara along the Kukum Highway for roughly 35 km. The road is sealed but deteriorates west of central Honiara. Minibuses from Honiara central market serve villages along the northwest coast. The journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Visale is walkable, with footpaths connecting the houses and the beach. For longer trips along the coast, local minibuses and hired cars are the main options.
