From Rimini, take the SS72 Superstrada into San Marino, continue past Borgo Maggiore, and follow the local Strada di Chiesanuova southwest, turning off onto the scenic road leading to Poggio Casalino. The drive takes about 35 minutes. Local AASS bus Line 6 provides regular daily service between the City of San Marino and Chiesanuova, stopping near the hamlet.
Poggio Casalino is a small hilltop hamlet and is best explored on foot. There are no local public transit lines operating within the hamlet itself. To travel between different parts of Chiesanuova or to other municipalities in San Marino, a private car or scooter is highly recommended. The nearest AASS bus stops are located along the main road.
