By Plane

The nearest major international gateway is Federico Fellini International Airport (IATA: RMI) in Rimini, Italy, approximately 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) northeast. A taxi from the airport to Caladino costs around €55–€70. For a wider range of flights, Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (IATA: BLQ) is located 135 kilometers (84 miles) away, with rail and bus transfers to Rimini.

By Train

San Marino has no active railway system. The closest railway station is Rimini Train Station (Stazione di Rimini) in Italy. From Rimini, you can take the Bonelli Bus (Line 72) to Borgo Maggiore or the City of San Marino, and then transfer to the local AASS bus network (Line 6) to reach Caladino.

By Car / Road

Caladino is easiest to reach by car. From Rimini, follow the SS72 Superstrada into San Marino, continue past Borgo Maggiore, and turn onto the local Strada di Chiesanuova. The drive takes about 35 minutes. From Caladino, local roads also connect north toward Fiorentino and west toward Italy. The local AASS bus Line 6 provides regular connections from the City of San Marino to Chiesanuova, passing through or stopping near Caladino.

Caladino is small and best explored on foot. There are no local public transit options operating within the hamlet itself. To travel between different parts of the castello or to other municipalities in San Marino, a private car or scooter is highly recommended. The nearest AASS bus stops are located along the main road connecting Chiesanuova and the capital. Taxis must be pre-booked from Borgo Maggiore or the City of San Marino.
