Vaitele is a village on the north coast of Upolu island in Samoa's Tuamasaga district. It lies along the coastal road west of central Apia and is one of the main suburban areas of the capital. The village is part of the Tuamasaga political district and is a growing residential and commercial area.

Samoa has a warm tropical climate. The dry season (May to October) is the most pleasant time to visit.

How do you get there?

By Plane

Faleolo International Airport (APW) is about 28 km west — a 30-minute drive. Taxis cost around 45–55 WST.

By Car / Road

Vaitele is about 6 km west of central Apia — a 10-minute drive. Regular buses from Apia serve the route.

Buses and taxis connect Vaitele to Apia. The village is spread along the main road.
