About Ruhango

Ruhango is a market town in central Southern Province, located on the main road between Kigali and Butare. It is a quiet agricultural centre serving the surrounding farming communities that grow maize, beans, bananas, and cassava on the terraced hills. The town sees regular bus traffic on the main southbound route but few tourists stop here, making it an unvarnished look at everyday Rwandan life.
